Herman Frederick Sprenger married Johanna Maria Caroline Haach , daughter of (?) Haach and Maria Sophia Liseth Louisa Schell, on 12 May 1884, at, Germany.3 Herman Frederick Sprenger immigrated on 28 May 1886 to on ship Leipzig., New York City, New York; On March 12 1887, Hermann swore a statement of intent to become a US citizen. On that statement he claims to have arrived on the date above in new York City. (See copy under documents.
Checks of NARA lists for that date have no trace of the family. It is most probable that the ship was not included or has been lost from the records.

This must be our Herman.4,5 He was listed on the 1906 census in; They do not seem to be here, search all the Lemberg district, just a Mathieas Hack and family but he was from Austria not Pommerania.6
Herman Frederick Sprenger died on 16 December 1935, at, Rainy River District, ,, Raymond claimes there is evidence they were from the Posen area, city or district, he did not know.7,3
